Oxford and University Green Week

University of Mississippi

COVID-19 Update

To our larger community,

It is with a healthy measure of disappointment and concern for the wellbeing of our students, faculty, staff and others that we are announcing the cancellation of all proposed in-person events for Green Week 2020. Per the University of Mississippi’s COVID 19 response and CDC guidelines, all in-person Green Week events, including the Earth Day Keynote Address, the Sustainability Fair, and others will not be held as planned.

In order to still mark the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, our office is putting together some remote ways to engage with environmental sustainability via online resources. We appreciate your patience. In this challenging time, you may offer assistance to members of our university community most impacted by the loss of resources by giving to the Rebel Relief Fund, which can be found here.
