The Sustainable Living by Design event showcases sustainable products, technologies, best practices and solutions for home and business owners, architects and contractors.

View firsthand the sustainable solutions already in practice in Oxford.

  • Featured in the documentary “Bill Lilly Builds a Green House,” this beautiful residential property was constructed from three shipping containers and showcases the ultimate in sustainable design and products, creating an almost carbon-neutral home.
  • The new Rainbow Cleaners illustrates that sustainability not only helps produce an efficient, environmentally sound business, but it’s economical as well.
  • The UM Medicinal Plant Garden’s newly constructed LEED facility contributes to energy and water conservation on campus while playing a large role in plant research worldwide.

Tours to each location depart from Insight Park at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., with a third tour of the Medicinal Plant Garden at 1 p.m.  Each one-hour tour will visit one location. Tour one location or all three. A $5 donation gives you access to all sites. Click Here Reserve Your Space
